a fatal grace + night film

While I was waiting to board my plane to Florida Friday evening I started the second book in the Chief Inspector Gamache series. Also, THIS HAPPENED 12 hours before I left the same airport going to the same destination; I'm happy that I didn't hear about it until later and I'm happy that I had a very safe and uneventful flight (and totally got around the $35 carry-on fee with a HUGE backpack; I was seriously surprised they didn't stop me to empty my pockets for a huge fee).

I am really loving this series so far and finished the second book on my flight back home. I'm currently taking a break from Armand Gamache and the sûreté and diving into New York City with Scott McGrath in Night Film: a book I bought when I picked up Still Life and A Fatal Grace so I could easily start a new book in case I didn't enjoy the series.

This book is setup like a non-fiction fitted with email documents and news articles throughout. Totes prepared to get creeped out and get so sucked in that I forget to feed my kids dinner.

Aloutte, gentille alouette.
