finding dory

I have been waiting for this movie for many moons! 

In addition to my years long excitement and anticipation for the movie, I was extra excited to take Kennedy to her first cinematic adventure! I never felt that she was at an old enough age to tolerate sitting through an entire movie; wiggle wise and bladder wise. We went to the earliest showing at my favorite theater this morning and holy shit. Kid city! I thought we were in for a terrible experience.

Boy was I wrong! All the kids were so well behaved. I mean, our theater was full and I didn't hear a peep. Even Kennedy, I thought for certain I would have to remind her that there would be time for questions later or escort her to the bathroom a couple times. Nada!

And if you thought the opening scene in Finding Nemo was heartbreaking, bring some tissues. I was frequently wiping tears from my eyes! Whether it was from something sentimental, happy, or sad the emotions were endless. I'm not sure if the emotional response comes from being a parent and mirroring the situation onto my life or if it's just THAT GOOD!

You all are going to absolutely die when you seen baby Dory.
