Starting this book puts me that much closer to finishing my Goodreads challenge for the year. How pitiful though that I really put my mark at 24 thinking I would partially blow it out of the water. Merp.
Well here we have the seventh tale to begin in lovely Three Pines. Honestly if it wasn't for the wacky shit that happens in this wonderful village, it sounds like the perfect place for me to hunker down and stay awhile.
The previous book, Bury Your Dead had me almost in tears so I am happy to report that it had been my favorite out of the series. SO GOOD. Maybe I've said it once or twice before but if you're looking for a new series to start and you are down diggity for some murder mystery/suspence/drama/fairytalesque like tales, I highly recommend this one! Armand Gamache is my dude along with everyone else.
